I worked with operations department for a year and two months as field operator then continued my work as a panel operator in sulfur block which has become a field of expertise for myself afterwords. Currently, I am developing two flare systems to enhance the quality of work. The first system is flare management system, and the other is flare off/on alarm system. The flare management system will help in carbon reduction by identifying the normal flaring of each unit within the refinery and trying to optimize the normal flaring to the flare header. Furthermore, the system will give the environment engineer the opportunity to have a better monitoring over the flare on daily basis. In contrast, the flare off/on alarm system will reduce the environmental impacts and works as an additional supportive tool to avoid catastrophic incidents.
